Practice ice is listed below through November 30th, along with COVID guidelines for each of the rinks. This process is new this year as DAHA is assigning ice to each of the rinks and we are not allowed to go out and get it ourselves. So there may be some gaps in the practice schedules, but that is all we were given, and without Wessman and UMD, and Fryberger until Nov. 10th, and the additional time between ice at the Heritage Center, ice time is harder to come by. Please read through the COVID guidelines carefully as they have specific instructions on how to proceed at each rink.
IMPORTANT: This is considered ice time for Portman Hockey. Your child must be registered to play hockey this year in order to be on the ice for practice. If you have not all ready done so, please register via the Duluth Hockey website.
The kids often tell us some of their best Portman memories are those spent rink ratting with their friends down at the rinks. Keep track of your child's hours spent rink ratting, or ask your older kids to track their own hours. We will email everyone once a month to collect hours, and the kids can earn prizes at the end of the season for their rink rat hours. All of our rink ratters will receive a Portman Rink Rat T-shirt.
Visit the Garon Brothers site for styles and ordering.
